This application includes the tables, ACLs, and roles that are required to upload, parse, and ingest SBOM data.
- Data model structure required to store the SBOM information.
New
- Automated SBOM cleanup rules can now be configured and managed from a dedicated page. Admins can set up rules to automatically remove older SBOM documents and metadata, reducing data volume and improving performance.
- Archival of prior SBOM versions is now supported. When a newer SBOM is ingested for the same application, components from the previous version are automatically unlinked and deactivated, keeping the SBOM workspace focused on current data.
Changed
- SBOM ingestion performance has been enhanced. Uploaded SBOM files are now processed in parallel, significantly reducing processing time for customers with high-volume ingestion.
Required roles:
- sn_sbom_dm.app_create - You need this role if you want to create records in SBOM tables.
- sn_sbom_dm.app_read - You need this role if you want to read records in SBOM tables.
- sn_sbom_dm.app_write - You need this role if you want to edit records in SBOM tables.
Dependencies:
- At a minimum, the SBOM Core application must also be installed to parse and ingest the data from uploaded SBOMs in your instance.
