Supported processes:
- Order – Allows users to order assets, receive e-mails with BARCODE and location and collect the assets from lockers and vending machines located near their geographical location
- Return – Allows users to return assets they have already collected (or otherwise own) and store them into lockers located near their geographical location
- Restock Process – Allows the Customer Asset Managers and On-Site Support Agents to pre-stock assets in lockers. The assets are then available for ordering via the order or borrow processes. Personalised stocking allows the stocking of assets that have pre-determined recipients
- Borrow & Return – Allows users to Borrow devices from Velocity Smart Lockers™, set a loan period and return borrowed devices. The application sends configurable email notifications to remind users to return their borrowed devices and automatically keeps track of asset ownership and due dates
- On-Behalf-of features – enables requests to be raised on behalf of end-users by Support agents
- Incident break/fix – allows service desk agents to remotely assist end-users through the entire lifecycle of a break/fix scenario – the drop off of malfunctioning equipment, borrowing of temporary replacements, fix and return of original equipment to end-users or its decommissioning
- Vending registration and vending stock information – the application allows users to follow a customizable registration process to gain access to the Velocity Smart Vending™ devices, keeps track of user vending transactions for reporting and cross-charging purposes and enforces customer-defined vending limits. Vending limits are flexibly set on maximum number of items per period, maximum budget spend per period or both. Users are able to check the current device stock prior to visiting a Velocity Smart Vending™ device to find out if the necessary item is available
- Parcel drop-off and pick-up – the application supports advanced package exchange use cases such as inbound and outbound parcel flows, use of carrier-defined barcode, fully-audited parcel delivery tracking, carrier-managed and direct user-to-user parcel exchange via Velocity Smart Lockers™
