Standalone Application
The ServiceNow® Care Team Operations for Biomed application is built on the Healthcare Operations Core application and contains case types, record producers, and flows designed to enable care teams to report medical device and other biomed related issues. For organizations that own Clinical Device Management or Field Service Management, the out of the box flows synchronizes data between the case and work order, allowing biomed technicians to work with work orders to fulfill their care teams corrective maintenance requests.
- Healthcare biomed case type
- Extends from the healthcare operation case type to support care team corrective maintenance requests for your organization’s biomed department.
- Care Team Portal biomed requests
- Request support from your organization’s biomed department with preconfigured record producers.
- Healthcare biomed case and work order synchronization
- Care Team Operations for Biomed links biomed cases and work orders. For customers with Clinical Device Management, care teams will gain visibility into all biomed cases reported by their team while also providing biomed support teams with the ability to fulfill cases as work orders and work order tasks all without having to update the case itself.
- Fixed:
- The Australia release introduces enhanced protections for read‑only fields across the ServiceNow AI Platform®. These changes include a new “read_only_option” field with granular control levels, including “strict_read_only” and “client_script_modifiable". The changes occur in the back end and maintain backward‑compatible behavior. This update helps strengthen your instance security while preserving the flexibility you need. If you have custom client scripts that modify ServiceNow‑owned read‑only fields using g_form.setValue() or g_form.clearValue(), refer to KB2718122. This article provides additional technical details on how to identify affected fields and adjust their settings. For more information about granular read-only security options, see Configuring read-only security options.
- If you have the feature administrator role you can now complete tasks that were initially reserved for users with the broader administrator role.
The Care Team Operations for Biomed application is dependent on the Healthcare Operations Core application.
