Now Assist for CMDB automatically identifies and suggests resolution steps for duplicate CIs, guiding admins through a step-by-step resolution process. The 'Configuration item summarizer' agent accepts the sys_id of any CI and uses the CI summarization skill and other tools to return a full natural language summary of the CI's cmdb_ci record information: tasks, child tables, discovery source, associated incidents, change requests, alerts, vulnerabilities, and so on.
This base-system agent is not typically used in standalone mode. You can leverage the agent in any agentic AI framework use case.
