AWS Managed Services (AMS) solves the problems of people, processes and technology for running infrastructure operations on AWS for enterprise customers. AMS fills the gap between fully managed infrastructure and native AWS by adding IT management features (patch, backup, monitoring, security) and ITIL-based operational processes (incident and change management) on top of standard AWS services.
- Large enterprises use IT infrastructure from different cloud providers as well as infrastructure that is on-premise. Enterprise users are used to finding all their workflows in their ITSM tool without having to jump to different tools. Creating common workflows in ServiceNow requires integration with the underlying platforms and subsequent customizations to workflows.
- Such integration projects require an initial development effort and ongoing maintenance effort to ensure that the application is up to date with the latest features from AMS. This connector app provides all the functionality and flexibility of the AMS console in ServiceNow, providing an integrated experience for AMS customers.

Key features include:
- Incident management - Create incidents related to your AMS environment in ServiceNow and have the AMS operations team take the appropriate actions on the underlying AWS infrastructure to resolve those incidents around SLAs.
- Service request management - Ask the AMS operations team questions about your AWS infrastructure in ServiceNow.
- Requests for Change (RFCs) - Request new AWS infrastructure components, or make changes to existing infrastructure components, through a form-based ServiceNow interface. As the AMS operations team fulfills the requests, you will see the status of the deployments into your AMS accounts in ServiceNow.
- Multi-account management - View and create incidents, service requests, and RFCs across multiple AMS accounts using only a single ServiceNow instance.
Summary:
Removing CryptoJS and other 3DES encryption methods used in generating AWSSigV4 auth tokens. This change complies with ServiceNow's initiative to phase out Triple Data Encryption Standard (3DES) usage across the platform.
Must be using ServiceNow platform Vancouver, Washington releases
Must have access/secret key pair for each AMS account needed for application access
Must assign as least one ServiceNow user to the included app_admin role
