HipLink Unified IT Alerting for Mission Critical Communication - When the Message HAS to Get There
HipLink has been a pioneer in the messaging business for over two decades, and we have successful integrations with dozens of different third-party systems, including various CAD vendors, ITMS products including BMC Remedy, HP NetIQ AppManager, HP OpenView Network Node Manager (OV NNM), and so on. These integrations include using standard messaging protocols, such as SMTP, WCTP, SNPP, TAP, as well as proprietary integrations that works over our HTTP interface or the newer REST Web Services interface. Our integrations with third-party systems are at the forefront of what provides interested parties with very powerful and versatile messaging solutions. At the output side, HipLink supports messaging through a wide ranging of delivery mechanisms including things as simple as emails and SMS text messages to full two-way integration using text messaging, VOIP calls, smartphone apps. All of these underlying complicated details are transparent to the source system as well as to the dispatchers and the recipients. That is, the same interface can be used to send a simple SMTP message (email), or a SMS text message, or a VOIP phone call, or a message to our smart phone app. Along the same lines, we have developed a ServiceNow App, to be integrated with our messaging suite, for alerts originated and generated from the ServiceNow system, targeted for IT alerting purposes.
