Auvik’s incident management integration with ServiceNow is a bi-directional integration. Communication flows from Auvik to ServiceNow and back to Auvik.
With this integration, Auvik creates a ServiceNow incident for any specified alert in Auvik. Closing the incident in ServiceNow flows information back to Auvik to automatically dismiss the associated alert.
If the alert is still open in Auvik after the incident has cleared, you can configure how Auvik will handle the situation. Your choices are to re-open the incident in ServiceNow after a specified period or to never re-open it.
The Auvik / ServiceNow integration is fully customizable, allowing you to modify the application to better fit your business needs.
