Smarter, simpler sharing
Sharing a report now uses three permission levels — View only, View and share, and Edit — instead of a single edit/view toggle, in a new sharing modal. Edit access is now reserved for Builders.
New: the Collaborator role. Give a teammate the ability to share a report and send it as an email attachment without giving them full edit access. A good fit for anyone who distributes reports but shouldn't change them.
Permissions are hierarchical: Edit includes View and Share, and View and Share includes View. To actually use "Share with others" or "Send as attachment," a user also needs the Collaborator role.
Backwards compatibility: anyone who had View access before this update now has View Only. To restore View + Share, grant them the Collaborator role and View + Share permission.

Strategic Gantt upgrades
- Collapsible rows. Condense the chart by collapsing rows you don't need; the collapse control now sits on the right for easier access.
- Fiscal calendar support. Plot timelines against your organization's fiscal calendar instead of only the standard calendar year.
- Conditional coloring and fields. Color rows or cells based on conditions you define, using the familiar ServiceNow condition builder, built into the chart configuration.
- Configurable column widths. Set columns to fixed pixel or percentage widths.
- Milestone improvements. Fixed duplicate labels and repeating-milestone rendering; added configurable milestone text color and the option to append description text to markers.
- More reliable configuration. Changing a Gantt chart's underlying table now resets dependent field, column, and condition settings instead of leaving stale references behind.
- Performance. Charts with deep table hierarchies or large row counts load noticeably faster thanks to batched backend queries.
- Assorted polish. Removed cell overflow clipping, fixed a UI label typo, and corrected several default options.
Export updates
If your exports have come out cropped, blank, mis-sized, or with the wrong fonts, this is the fix.
- Browser zoom no longer corrupts exports. The final image renders in a separate, unzoomed window, so your zoom level no longer affects the file.
- Attachment images export correctly — each image is now resolved individually before capture.
- Charts are captured only once they've finished drawing. Slower charts sometimes exported blank or half-drawn; the export now waits.
- Pie and donut charts export at the right size.
- Correct fonts and spacing in exported tables — output matches what you see on screen.
- Strategic Gantt exports are cleaner: milestone labels no longer wrap to a second line, date column headers keep their trailing ellipsis instead of overflowing, and row heights snap to whole pixels, removing the faint hairline gaps between rows.
- One broken image no longer ruins the whole export.
Other chart and viewing improvements
- Combination charts. Fixed a case where selecting a custom chart as a data source could silently break, and legend label overrides being lost when a layer's conditions changed.
- Multi-line/multi-axis charts. Fixed misaligned rendering when trend lines had different date ranges (e.g., weekly data). Lines now align to a shared date range.
- Sankey charts. Fixed links overflowing the chart bounds and visual glitches (stray tooltips, gradients) when resizing or re-rendering.
- Calculated Score list charts. Fixed inconsistent threshold-based coloring.
- Placeholder/empty states. Custom "no data" and error messages now respect your chosen text alignment instead of always centering.
- Conditional-color legend. Added an optional legend explaining your conditional-color rules on Heatmap, Gantt, Sankey, and Strategic Gantt charts.
- Viewer slideshow mode. Arrow key and spacebar navigation no longer fires while a dialog is open on top of the viewer.
- Filter editor. Fixed the "Add Filter" condition builder incorrectly showing or hiding options for tag-type fields.
Scaled reports and importing
- Fixed a broken Help Center link on the Scaled Report page.
- Table mapping settings now show the actual parent table name instead of a hardcoded placeholder.
- Importing a scaled report with a name already in use no longer creates a duplicate title; a number is appended automatically.
- The "Import from JSON" dialog now shows an "Importing..." state and disables Submit while the import runs, preventing duplicate submissions.
Notifications and sharing
- The "notify this person" option on the sharing dialog now sends reliably.
- Deploying a version template without permission now shows a clear error instead of a confusing one.
- Fixed the "new version available" comparison behind the refresh banner so it reliably detects when a newer published version exists.
