Card Data Security secures dispute processing by safeguarding sensitive card information as it flows between ServiceNow and third‑party systems. This solution uses tokenization to replace card details with nonsensitive tokens. It also stores sensitive documents within a secure environment. Together, these capabilities protect card data and supporting documents from the moment they enter your ServiceNow instance, and enable the safe exchange of data with card networks and core banking systems without exposing raw card information.
- Secure card data handling: Protect sensitive card data in Financial Services Operations dispute workflows using an integrated tokenization solution.
- Prebuilt and extensible integrations: Seamlessly integrate with major core banking and third‑party systems, including (but not limited to) Visa, Mastercom, Mastercom Extended, Ethoca, Verifi, and Visa Stop Payment Service. Visa and Mastercom integrations are predefined in this application.
- Document storage: Ensure sensitive documents received from third‑party systems such as Visa and Mastercom are securely stored within the tokenization system and never persisted directly in ServiceNow.
- Secure in‑flow visibility within disputes: Display raw card numbers and tokenized documents directly within the disputes workflow using a Seismic component powered by the tokenization system’s SDKs.

Installation:
- Card data security application does not have any app dependencies.
Permissions and roles:
- System administrator (admin) role is needed for the installation.
