The portal receives updates via integration with a Diplomat Server, which is a Java-based application. Diplomat integration instances can be hosted on a cloud platform or installed as an in-house or on-premise application. Diplomat Server supports the REST framework and uses inbound and outbound REST web services to interact with the ServiceNow portal app.
Integration to Atlassian StatusPage provides monitoring of the operational status of each Diplomat integration instance along with historical listings of related incidents. Integration with Xtraction provides access to an incident audit summary dashboard.
