A specialized integration that utilizes Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager and ServiceNow CMDB to provide an automatic way to simplify device connectivity and gain a view of your network devices.
This application integrates with Aruba ClearPass and enables the synchronization of data between ClearPass Endpoints and the ServiceNow CMDB.
The 2.2.1 version resolved an issue with default cmdb_ci table filters introduced in 2.2.0 version.
The 2.2.0 version provides update on filtering of cmdb_ci tables based on either allowlist or denylist for the endpoint sync process. It is backwards compatible with configuration of previous versions.
This system requires the use of the ServiceNow CMDB and the Identification and Reconciliation (I&R) Engine. This also requires the I&R hardware rule for MAC Address only identifications be enabled as well as adding a choice list item for discovery sourced named "ClearPass".
This application also requires the user of the ServiceNow ClearPass extension.
