Payroll Case Management
Payroll Case Management provides payroll operations with a standalone and segmented application to help streamline, manage, and process employee payroll-related inquiries and requests.
Self-Service Payroll case creation
From the Service Portal or Employee Center, employees are empowered to enquire or request Payroll Services from the following default categories:
- Beneficiaries
- Benefits
- Deductions
- Leave
- Pay
- Setup payroll
- Superannuation
- Tax
- Timesheet
- Other
Note: Other services can be configured through the application.
A payroll case is created when a payroll service is requested through the Service Portal or Employee Center.
Payroll agent case creation
Employees can enquire about Payroll Services via email, phone, and the Service Portal or Employee Center. A payroll agent can create a payroll case from a selectable payroll service.
Once a payroll case has been created, it is assigned to the assignment group responsible for fulfilling the applicable payroll service.
A payroll case has a structured and streamlined workflow with the capability of creating additional payroll tasks to fulfill and compliment the parent payroll case.
Example Payroll Case request
An employee named Jarred wants to enquire about his leave balance:
1. Jarred submits a payroll case through the Employee Center enquiring about his current leave balance.
2. A Payroll Case is created and automatically assigned to the responsible assignment group for fulfillment.
3. The Payroll Agent through the button driven workflow completes the request and provides Jarred with the requested information.
4. Jarred is prompted to confirm acceptance of the proposed resolution and information provided.
