Scoring in Smart Assessment Engine is a systematic way to evaluate responses to various questions within an assessment. By attributing scores to answers, you can translate qualitative responses into quantitative data, offering each evaluation's measurable and comparable outcome.
- Scoring involves assigning numerical values to responses based on predefined criteria. It can be done for various question types, such as radio buttons, checkboxes, drop-down menus, and numbers. Each possible answer can be assigned a score, or scores can be calculated based on the aggregation of responses.
- Weights can be assigned to questions, sections and subsections.
- Scores can be calculated at various levels within an assessment. Functions such as Sum, Min, Max, Product, Average, and Weighted Average are available at the assessment, section, and subsection levels. However, only one formula can be defined at each level.
