The Core app is a "utility" app that provides common or reusable functionality to multiple 1E business applications.
- The primary functionality is to abstract away details of calling 1E platform, is real-time remediation tool invoked via REST API calls. 1E Core app hides all the REST-related complexity and exposes simpler interfaces for business APIs to consume.
- Any 1E integration ServiceNow app which needs to communicate with 1E platform, will have to do so through 1E Core app APIs.
- The process of integration can also involve additional steps of sharing the security certificate for accessing the end points, which should be provided by 1E platform administrators.
- It supports both baisc authentication and OAuth 2.0 Authentication.
